Sequoia 15.5 Firefox 139.0.1

Firefox recently enforced an update. After this update, I can no longer open file browser for attachments if a website offers this option (example: this very form, Browse... button does nothing). I can also not Save to PDF any more. In both instances, a spinning wheel will appear and then nothing will occur.

In the last few months I noticed that I could not completely connect to Facebook on Mozilla on my desktop, I could access from my phone and other web browsers though. I tried clearing cookies, cache, etc. without improvement and just gave up. Now I'm beginning to have issues with other sites not loading completely or at all (Amazon, Yahoo, gmail). I again have tried clearing cache/cookies but its not helping. Just like with Facebook previously, I can access Amazon, Yahoo, gmail, etc on other web browsers from my desktop; just not on Mozilla.

I do not want "recently bookmarked" to appear with my Bookmarks. How can I remove it? Right-clicking and changing the "browser.bookmarks.showRecentlyBookmarked" preference no longer work.

Win 11, latest FF version. A few addons, that never cause problems.

Firefox keeps freezing. I've checked Task Mgr, Event Viewer, Troubleshooting - and cannot find out why this is happening.

Restarted 3 times, but when I open outlook.com, the mail freezes. Open tabs keep freezing, so I'm unsure the culprit.

I've been using Firefox since Windows first came out and NEVER had this problem (or any other) until about a month ago. After an update, my bookmarks sidebar failed to work. I tried to update again, but got the message "Secure Connection Failed". After many tries, I was able to load a 32 bit ( V 1390.1) which was offered from Mozilla. This despite the fact that my PC is a 64 bit machine. This 32 bit version works poorly! I've repeatedly tried to load a 64 bit version, hoping that it would work as Firefox has in the past. I am still getting the the message "Secure Connection Failed", Error Code Mozilla_pkix_error_key_pinning_failure. What is going on??? I like Firefox and I'm reluctant to change browsers, but it may become necessary. Operating systwm: windows 10. Bob N

If I enter file:///d:/web/index.html in the search box then it returns the expected web page but if I edit it into a Firefox home page shortcut then I'm told a valid URL is required. A bit of research here makes me think I need to edit policies.json but I can't find that file in Windows 10, Firefox 139.0.1. I note that the posts giving the advice are six years old and Firefox has changed greatly since then. Please could someone tell me the current method to achieve what I want?

our VPN was updated and is now giving me a CONSTANT repeating notification "Firefox" browser does not have private browsing permission, please enable "Run in Private Windows" in WebFilter extension option. I looked but did not see this option. where would it be, and/or what can i do about this, it's driving me nuts, lol, thanks in advance, I LOVE FIREFOX!!!

Regardless of running Firefox from my main package manager (that which is from Linux Mint's Repo) or running the FlatPak version it seems to crash randomly. At best check it seems to have something to do with my NVidia graphics (could this be WebGL related?). I've used two other Firefox Variants (WaterFox and Zen, both of which I completely despise!) with no strange crashes at all! Attached is my crashlog, I'd appreciate some input before I scrap Linux Mint completely. Laptop is Alienware M18R2 running three 4K displays (60Hz on two, 165Hz on native). Attached is the crashlog. This happens regardless of extensions enabled. I run the same setup on several other PCs both Windows and Linux (all my Linux is Mint right now). Only this NVidia based PC is the issue.

Every time there is a queue up at pokemoncenter.com I get this error upon getting into the website. I have disable all my extensions and this only happens when I use firefox and there is a queue up. It likely has something to do with the websites aggressive bot detection. I am able to use other browsers without this issue, like edge and chrome. I am not the only one to experience this problem. It would be super cool if I did not have to use a different browser just for this one website.

Abandonment of Pocket is pushing me back to use of my Firefox Bookmarks Tree.

After a long period of maintenance on my Firefox Bookmarks Folders within the "Bookmarks Menu" I accidentally moved a folder named "Music" into some other folder. I've checked the folders which contain nested folders which are near to where the "Music" Folder should be but cannot find the "Music" folder.

It seems that Firefox Browser ver. 39.0.1 (aarch64) on my M4 MAX MacBook Pro 16" running macOS Sequoia 15.5 makes it easy to search for and to find a bookmark, but not its location within the folder structure in which the bookmark is located. I need to see that folder location so that I can move the folder "Music" back to the top level within the "Bookmarks Menu."
